In this way, the curiosity is quite natural that conch is useful only in worship or it has some benefits. Indeed, there are many such things of Sanatan Dharma that are beneficial not only in. Conch Shell (Dung-Kar) by Tashi Lhunpo Monks, released 01 May 2012 1. Conch Shell (Dung-Kar) The sound of the Conch Shell is used to summon the gods to the prayers. It was also used in battle and was thought to release frightening destructive forces. The conch shell trumpet comes from the word ‘Dung’ meaning horn and ‘Karpo’ meaning white.

Enclosed below are several melodious chantings of the Gayatri Mantra, the Surya Mandala Ashtakam (Gayatri Stavan) and a rendition of the Gayatri Aarti. They have been sung by various musical teams of talented devotees from the All World Gayatri Pariwar (AWGP), founded by Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya.

For this reason a lit lamp is reverentially waved before the deity and the singing of the Aarti is accompanied by the blowing of conch shells and the musical chimes of bells and cymbals, so that many can hear and join in.
